Guitar effects

hi folks. I am new to both this forum and MPC beats itself. I am using beats primarily to play guitar through my laptop, with looking at recording in the not to distant future.
I am running my guitar through an m audio m-track solo directly with no amp.
can you access different guitar effects and amp models using MPC beats?

There are various insert FX that can be applied either during recording or post-recording, the distortion FX are found in the 'Harmonic' section of plugins, although the amp simulation plugin is, I believe, only available in the MPC Software.
