What the last add -on that came out for the force ? A few the last ones specifically said not for the force in the release notes.

The keywords in my reply were "I hope." Also there was some Force user last week or so, that got a email from Akai support team that indicated that a new Force update is coming out in the future, but when & what will be on it, is info only Akai’s knows.

That's very short sighted. If these chumps keep leaking stuff, Akai will simply shut down the beta testing program and we'll be left with just the internal testing team. That's less testing, less feedback, slower release times.

As for a wall of silence, seriously, that's a bit dramatic. They've said standalone is coming and that they are working on it. Really, who actually gives that much of a shit, if you really need to stem out something you have plenty of options on your computer and you can just transfer over to standalone, plus you'll be able to ensure the highest quality results this way.

If the video is not fake, I think the developers have made a great job

If what that troll put out is true then he or she should be banned as a beta tester. I hope akai takes its time and do what's right!

They don't really tell anybody anything to be perfectly honest. The whole 'beta program' is kind of a joke.

The beta testing program, i.e. the one which Akai publicly asked customers to apply for, is for testing what they make available to you, they do not discuss roadmaps, release dates or anything like that. It's purely for testing and reporting what you find in the currently available beta version. And you can see why they don't let them know too much, because there's always some muppet who can't wait to leak stuff.

The in-house testers ('alpha testers') are the ones with more 'inside' knowledge. I have no idea who does that these days, maybe Masada, and I assume, some actual Akai employees.

Nobody knows what other people have for agreements with Akai in their beta program, but I suspect a lot of people do not understand what is written in the contracts they sign to join them.

Beta programs require trust in testers, and if people are breaching NDAs or other agreements it looks poorly on the entire community. I am not aware of Akai doing much beyond having videos/posts taken down, but once the cat is out of the bag it is very hard to get control of public opinion.
