Bolo posted this video saying there was going to be a big announcement on 8th July.

Nothing yet! Usually Bolo is in the know and has insider info

Dunno! He did say a new addition to the MPC family, which to me sounds more like hardware.

MPC Mini or Key88 would be a letdown for me. I'm hoping for a new flagship with all new internals :)

...but it'll probably just be STEMS :)

just stems update would not equate to Bolo saying a new member in the MPC family.

a new x would be dope but I would be happy with stems or 3.0

it’s just an update (across all MPC Line Family) nothing more…

Anyway „BIG UPDATE” should be used in conjuction with „we’ve fixed internal midi routing and therefore squashed all the underlying bugs”.
Until now every BIG UPDATE comes with „we have a new shiny plugin for you + several extra ones baked in the firmware, but we won’t let you know when you would be able to use it”
:Sigh: :Sigh: :Sigh:

No New Akai Products in FCC Filings. So it's probably some Software/Firmware Updates

Just wishful thinking, but I think it was speculated that the live mini will be made by another company so akai will not have a fcc for the mini.
And a long time ago when they found information related to the force 6 in a firmware, maybe they still have the fcc document for that…?
