Hi,

I'm interested in a certain product, MPC Orchestral Professional Edition ( https://www.mpc-samples.com/product.php ... o-edition/ ). I hope this is the correct place to ask :?

1. Is it possible to install this expansion on an MPC X SE Standalone, so I can use it without the Akai pc software? If it is possible and there's already a description of the installation process online, a corresponding link would be fine and sufficient as an answer. Thanks :worthy:

2. As I don't use online payment methods, is it possible to pay by bank transfer / advance payment?

I'm thankfull for your help. Have a nice day.

It usually says so under Product FAQs. In this case:

Does this work in standalone MPCs and the Akai Force?

Yes, it's 100% compatible with the MPC X, MPC Live, MPC One and Akai Force and features memory-optimsed programs made with standalone use in mind. We've included a dedicated 'standalone' installer for easy drag-and-drop installation to your standalone MPC disk (plus an XPN file for optional MPC Software installation).

@Tutor: It says "memory-optimsed" here. Typo. :)

You can contact me for further options on alternative payment methods, [email protected]

Hi, and thanks for your answer. I'll contact you tomorrow for those options. I guess I'll be the happiest bass player on earth when I have my own symphony orchestra :nod:

See you.

Thanks for the tip. I saw this FAQ but I wasn't sure if I understood it correctly or if I needed to install MPC software on my PC in order to use this expansion (English isn't my mother tongue, and I preferred to ask once too much than once too little 8) ).

Take care.

Hi again :-D

I got my expansion pack now. I'd like to say thank you because in the 45 years I've been working in the music business (always WITHOUT online banking) I have rarely experienced such good support. The included user guide is also so clear & understandable that my 12-year-old daughter was able to install the expansion standalone.

As I can't keep any secrets, be sure that I'll tell others about it :wink:

Have a nice day.
