Nah, I'm not breaking the NDA for you or anyone else. I've been part of the beta program since 2016 and never had a problem with the Akai Pro or the BFD teams.

Whoa Akai's next product is a team up with BFD, that's been 8 years the development. That sounds awesome, I can't wait, I bet it'll be fire! Thanks for the heads up, :worthy:

That would be amazing, I miss a real acoustic drums plugin in my MPC

I'm pretty sure the NDA I agreed to prevents me from saying exactly what I think he's hinting at, but I know with certainty that I can say a lot of people will be happy if I'm right; if I'm wrong, then I guess we will all wait longer which would be a bummer for me personally...

so if u cant say anything due to ur NDA; why r u even bothering to be in this thread, making silly generic posts like this

the mpc live mini narrative was so specific; and it seemed like somthing akai would do thats why it kinda caught wind.

No it didnt even remotely sound like anything Akai would do with their flagship sampler workstation. You decided that all by yourself based on a trolls fake Youtube video and hyped yourself up with it. Nobody else was fooled, just you.

wrong the flagship is the mpc x;

nobody said nothing bout that, the convo was about the possiblility of an mpc live mini to compete with the sp404 and other smaller units with a simplified workflow.

that seemed like probable move that akai might make, again hence why the idea caught wind.

Bolo's latest video at around 11:30 into it he seems very excited about some big stuff coming very soon to the MPC.

in that same video there was a part where he mentioned 3.0 and he just winked twice; not saying that means that 3.0 is coming dis fall; but he did say in the past 3.0 is coming dis year.

but he also said he thinks the standalone stems in da mpc is on par with serato stems

He is a bit of a tease but he's usually on the money. I find he's the most reliable youtuber for early hints at info :)

He does seem to hint that 3.0 is on the way so we'll see!

I also noticed he intentionally seemed to ignore some of the questions in the live comments. Could just be that he skimmed over them, or it could be that some of the things being asked were too close to what he knows but can't say.

:lol: Sorry, can't bring myself to watch an hour of someone just chatting, but did he really say this? I did see that he said that some producers seem to be 'nit picking' for wanting to work with the best quality possible. :hmmm: Is this really where we're at these days?

Maybe I should just start releasing all my expansions in 28 kbp/s mp3 format as it will just 'force people to be creative' and 'put them in that uncomfortable zone'. :lol:
