AKAI MPC STEMS STANDALONE PLUGIN Coming on V2.15 Firmware

nope, it works on standalone for such a long time that I thought it been released already.
In your Synths folder, create directory called "AIR Music Technology - MPC - AIR Vocal Distortion", inside that directory create another empty directory called "Plugin Skins", it will let you use the plugin without GUI content. It seems they removed the content from the authorisation server. So no skin and no presets for you :/

New version is out! STEMS standalone too

Cool to have, but how expected it is very slow...

People always say limitations breeds creativity, maybe this poor quality is a good thing in our high-tech modern age...

I wonder in if in 2044 will they be on here Talking about the Grit Dirt and Flavor of the OG MPC X and standalone stems......

Probably will only cost 5000 Universal World Credits Used on Ebay.

These ”long” render times doesn’t sound too bad to me …
I remember when I tried the Transform Multiplication algorithm in my Emax rack.
Two short samples - and I mean short, like half a second long max each - took 42 minutes to process.
And usually the result sounded really bad. So one tried again with another two samples … and waited another 42 minutes …
A lot of coffee were consumed back then.

I'm still impressed that AKAI built its entire comeback standalone era on from what i understand... mid for the time 2013 era Tablet processors and they are still squeezing more features out of it 10+ years later.

Im Happy We got Something for standalone as far as stems.



But it does seem the Influencers got the MEMO... LOWER EXPECTATIONS in the bullet points.

Did you try activating, then switching to controller mode and back again? I’d try myself but I really don’t want a plug-in running in demo mode

Yeah, it looks like I've lost the content as well
anyway, it's a small nifty plug but personally never even used it tbh. I use only small set of plugins that I bought when they were discounted (Jura / OPx4 / Delay Pro) rest of them is just clutter. Anyway, I can see its potential on synths or stuff not entirely vocal related though. Most probably they will charge us around 20 bucks or so for that.

It didnt get any better with the later EIV Ultra CPUs either. If I ever run Transform/Multiply in my E6400 Ultra, I get up and do some housework or go take a bunch of bong rips or something and come back in like 30 minutes and hope its ready to go.

I don't use controller mode.. if they release it for real I will check it out.
