How to find keygroup files in the browser?

Hi there - I just got my MPC One+ this week and am stumbling on key group files.

I've been following the MPC Beat Academy on YouTube and it uses sounds from the F9 Expansion which doesn't come with the MPC One+, so I've been trying to find reasonable substitutes. In this case, it wants me to make a track with a key group instrument and then wants a key group program called "Inst-Bass-F9 Jun Drone". Since I don't have this I was expecting to browse some premade key group programs included in with the MPC One+ that I could load into a track but don't know how to find them. Browse mode has options to show project files, sequence files, program files, preset files and sample files but nothing about key group files.

The workaround I found was to load a wave file and add it into a key group using Program Edit but I was thinking I must have missed something in the docs somewhere.

Keygroups are not specifically identified in the browser, just all programs. If you want some keygroup instruments I have plenty of free ones here

Regarding keygroups not being identifiable from the browser, is there an MPC logic to that? If I'm browsing for sounds, and load one I like, how do I know whether to configure the Track as a keygroup or as something else?

I just bought the MPC Bible so I suspect in time I will discover the answer...

When you set a track type to keygroup, only keygroup programs will be available to assign to that track from the drop down box. If you set it to drum only drum prgrams will be available. So if you load a program and it doesn't appear as an assigning option on oyur keygroup track, it is likely a drum program.

But I agree, there should be a way to identify from the browser, although generally speaking you should find the programs are 'tagged' by name, like 'bass-', 'keys-' etc, so these are almost certainly going to be keygroups.
