AKAI IB304F - Filter Board

i was doin research on this thing and i'm still not sure if it is compatible with a regular s3000 sampler (not s3000i or s3000xl). if anyone got any info on this subject, i'd appreciate it!

No... it will only work in a S3000xl or S3200xl...

The AKAI IB-304F Board does work in the S3000

It enables 'D-D' recording onto a hard disk, in addition to the second filter.

is that second filter a hi pass?

2nd Filter = LPF, HPF, BPF, + other special EQ settings + tone control and ENV3 features.

Yea, I know...just find it weird the Filter board should give it HD recording.

I was installing a IB304F and thought it worth correcting this thread for future reference as it came up in a search - the EB304F (according to the installation manual) is only for use with S3000, S2000 and the S3000xl

No others.
