Is it really standalone when your plugins disappear and your shown a QR Code and told by the device to go to
HTTPS://device.akaipro.com and enter FZDMTJZG (i challenge you to memorize that, btw)
in order to get your software back and be able to work on the device?
Is it REALLY though? Standalone?
Because I had a short time before I needed to go to sleep (well past that now) and instead of working, here I am sharing my frustrations. (granted, a personal thing which nobody even really cares about)
and right now, Im not working and it dont HAVE that "standalone" feeling (other than that nobody cares)
It doesnt matter that I had to fire up my PC, it doesnt matter that I had to turn on the lights, it doesnt matter that I had to log into my PC, It doesnt matter that I had to find my phone and take a picture of the code and zoom in to read it, it doesnt matter that my TV/monitor turned off as I was typing this code (which still seems particularly egregious) that I was provided with by my standalone MPC and it doesnt matter that I had to look all around and under the cushions for the TV/monitor remote in order to get my purchased software back on my standalone MPC device. It also doesnt matter that I already had just did this, after a recent update.
So.. is it REALLY "standalone" ?
Or does it actually need to connect to a PC/device with an internet connection?
