If you have a single sequence workflow with programs used on multiple tracks it's been crippled unfortunately.
So any project with multiples won't play correctly. Any duplicates get made midi tracks.

Feels like the worst of the mpc combined with the worst of the force.
At least on the force we had midi clips playing from the same program.

Really needs a new name. No longer an mpc

Do we think a new MPC is coming as well, like an MPC X but better?

I hope they've fixed the "continuous MIDI clock" design error; I'm wresting with this now (synced delay at the start of a song) and I am SO SICK of having to work around stupid mistakes!

aaaaah damn, that means 100% of my mpc projects, damn. i feel you, i think the track\program\sequence structure to be integral to what an mpc really is. man this saddens me a lot. i'm surely gonna try the new os , and probably will keep the jj 1k for the og mpc workflow.

The programs still duplicate. The plugins don't.
However they are unique copies so each track needs to have it's program edited separately.

Preferred to copy a program if I needed unique editing.

The plugins only being able to work with one track will cripple me and my projects

looks like someone at Akai finally took a better look at the Roland MV hahhaha... still no real-time "qualitize" tho )

And it still isn’t out. Public beta in two weeks with no official release published. Could be next month. Could next year. People need to relax about all this. It will be here when it gets here.

You really think Akai is even looking that far back into its rear view mirror. Roland doesn’t even care about the MV anymore. Why would Akai?

I think they be looking yes... I don't wana ruin the party and I can't wait to get into the beta, but the MV had the linear sequencer that allowed you to make tracks like a DAW since like 10+ years ago...
