I’m thinking of getting a Force.had one for a while and did not quite unlock its potential.Seemed quite blocky and unwieldy..Will lots of shift/button combos…..If the new ‘planned’ OS made it more fluid to use I would be tempted.I might/could just get one anyway and see.Clips is obviously an amazing attribute.Mix and match ect.On the fence atm and looking for inspiration.Push 3 looks great but seems in its infancy atm….hmm

To b honest. The force is a ruler of machines. HAIL! The mp x is king true. So the new force should follow. And a new os, would b amazing though. it seems like its natural but its not a request. A whole new mpc os was a shock. And soo good. God! Amazing. Almost unbeatable. Can't stop it. Some of those same innovations could make it to FORCE. Wooh. Any way just wanted to make it a official statement. Huh? Ill try keeping up to keep this thread fresh. This chief of drums/music though gets much love AKAIFORCE. Just that smoothness of the new MP-3 looks pristine even for beta. Wow. Unbelievable and seems to be just as flawless. Pure perfection. Not to be all over it. But it deserves it. And FORCE is not undeserving of any attention like that either. And is no stretch to see it getting such treatment. I dont know. Maybe it doesnt. Or wont. It dont matter. Its still top #1 and keeps on being just as among the very best as its giving its best. Staying true.

My dude, you sound like you never even used the Force. Most of the MPC 3.0 features are from the Force, but the new MPC OS still doesn't have the amazing clip-matrix, so it's most definitely not perfection. The Force is more advanced but it can still use some QOL improvements like scene following & more arrangement sequences instead of just one. The hacked OS gives both of these features. Another thing that would be nice is the option to convert all or selected arranger tracks to clips.

Akai already mentioned that the Force will be getting all or most of the new MPCs only features. What's some things you want to see in the new Force OS?

Is its absence a deliberate choice ? It seems to me that it could easily be a dedicated screen. As I use Roland ZenBeats on my tiny mobile phone, I attest that the MPC's screen is large enough to make that reasonably comfortable.

I don't know if it's deliberate. My guess is that they don't want to force the Force on to MPC users. So they'll spoon feed them until they're ready. But the screen idea is something I suggested on the 3.0 thread. I still thing if they go with that, they'll need to make a new MPC that's more Force like as well. The Force is the future.

Also the disk streaming is such a natural choice for a feature because of 1 its a modern tech. 2 its a great innovation. Although the sound quality is nearly perfect. And its a perfect match to the workflow. What about mpc desktop sofware. Should it follow the mpc os too. Im interested in how it will evolve. It seems a total overhaul or redo. Any way just 1 more thought I had about the is and the tradeoffs and shared features for takai pro famz. The royal line. I had some more detailed thoughts for the new disk streaming features. But DJing for force is so natural. Its just buiiilt. A true tank. I hope users get blesset to make one a true part of the lineage in production for them. the way it should be. For someone that these can do them best. I feel like this is a sign for a redesign of mpc x though. Or something. How Akai pro is so innovative and ground breaking. Like a rack mounted peripheral or a mpc keys bigger brother. Mpc x bigger bro. Pads were always evolving. Sound was always improving. Because if classics are coveted its time for the mpc x to become that classic to cherish. At least early classic or late classic. For those that see new as good too. idk. Im not trying to insult irritate argue or more like that. As ideas can spark. But when I feel like sharing or speaking about greatness. Sorry if I offend. Not mean to misspeak while trying to give light to where there might not have shined any. Maybe il get a blog to ramble to.

A whole new os? Would it be just as welcome? For me with updated workflow and revamping of all user interface? I think akai pro might be happy to be doing that. The way that it seemed so easy to be adopting a evolution into the new is and a clear complete transition. An abandon of anything that was not needed. Or was not being brought into this 3.0. As for a force remake. Force has had in my opinion the most drastic changes. Such a different way then the os 1. Could there be a total redo. Or what. Outdated hardware maybe not. Definitely possible. Potential. Even like I thought would there be a update to a current version bringing some of the new things in mpc. But in an update? So the same os just with new features? New version? idk: what would they want. Because I could not imagine. Then I did start thinking of workflow and adjustments to features and function. Then I started to like the whole rework idea. Easily see it working. There has to be clues left behind somewhere by someone. So to top the mpc os was needed. But also expected. Hmmm. Any way good luck akai users good luck and to akai pro many thanks and much praise and luck and best of expectations to u. And I will be getting better at putting ideas to page. And music of course.ty 4 ur tme:mpcfrms

I regards to this topic my most extreme case is the Force is not ready for me. So I had to get ready to use the force. she was very unforgiving. Ways set and no give. I had problems with updates so I kept the og. Before slot of arranger features. And I really had it down. Then I got the updates. And I was introduced to the out with old and in with new perspective. As in mpc os 3. I would have rather kept older os. It felt as if it was foreign totally. Harder to usethe new. But its additions won out. Even though the older os was hard core sound. So I tried. And I knew I had to perfect my style before I came back. Being a clip and track based system focus. So I went on to perfect the loop style, cut style dJ style clip style midi style looping all kind of live and flowing freestyle on time no quantize on grid samples pitched way down pitched way up extreme fast tempos synthesizing drums synthesizing bass.,leads fxxs. most of all those looooow lows. Always a big boss of my bass sampling. Drones, effectz. All things i need to get the way force will only accept. And to the receive from that endless bounty she has offering. It was endless and so overpowering a creative but needy music. She always seemed like the perfect machine. So much analog feel. So much digitization done so classically. Was flaw-less. only getting better. But hard to use for a needy musician. Needy to learn how to operate on forces terms. Any way I write about it now because it took some time but I can say im now ready to tackle it one again. I got my looping practiced how it demands. I was just too demanding and focused to understand. But not undue. This Force creation is a masterpiece forr sure. I was synthesis heavy sample heavy. All necessarily but not tight enough. And the classic drum machine inside force wouldnt have it. Really I put a while into tightening up the flow of a patterns sequencing and midi info with sample adjustment and effect usage. Idk. Really I knew when I had accomplished it. When my foundation the basses was all I had left to practice and since me and force were always good on bass. I was ready for it. Lets see? how analog the machine was is perfect. F-l-a-t clean audio, resampling no funky digital sounds. Very pure true analog sounding. Not digital feeling adjusting. Or effects. Showing just how much respect needed for programming or playing with force just as the lessons needed to pattern and to sample input, fx better and more. Underated. Underestimated. Underappreciated. Classic as deserved. Could only get better. So. force os Coming like mpc 3. Possible. Wouldnt think not. But one all forces own as it is now. To a new force 2. Idk. Respect to all involved
