move notes

sorry for my clouded brain matter
but i can't seem to move multiple notes to a set position

e.g. i got 4 notes, unquantised
i want them shifted/moved to another position

on the 4k i can select them, push/select move and then enter a value
but on the X i can't , either in grid nor list edit

thing is, i can nudge them around with the jog
but if i need to move them from 08.4.51 to 05.01.01
(and keeping the relative positions, they're not all right on the beat either)
that involves 5 minutes joggin'

any other ideas?

cut & paste ?

Place note on beat before the notes you want to move. Select all notes with select tool Inc the note just placed. Cut then Use that note to snap to grid in new position and the rest should be pasted relative to that.
