Anyone know when mpc 3 will be released

Hey I’ve signed up and waiting for the new Mpc 3 update . Anyone any idea or have any inside info when it will be ready for download ?

Still in private Beta
Then public Beta
Then full release.

I hope it releases soon. Currently I’m trying to lay low, not think about to much and search my email every day for “Akai” lol

I would be preparing OS2 Projects to work better in OS3.

I was talking to someone important about this and was told that it would be released on a specific date.

of course. I assume "public beta" is mostly a marketing move.
You dont do beta testing with ten thousands if testers, thats not practical.

Otoh, if there are still bugs, which is to be expected, you can always blame it on the beta.

And then, its a smart marketing move on a new product, so any interested customers will hold any investments, while we - the discussing user base - do all the marketing communication.

It seems likely to me that the new product will be released simultanously, and in time for autumn saison/ black friday craze/ christmas. And autumn sales season starts with early/ mid September.

Every time akai announce something new, it's always on a Thursday.....so I'm guessing tomorrow

You can apply for the private beta, google AKAI PRO beta testing program. Maybe you'll get access to MPC 3 faster.

I heard it was gonna get released on the first full moon of 2025
