What do I need to get the MPC Studio and Renaissance working

MPC Studio (silver and black), MPC Renaissance going for almost pennies these days and I want one. Something about them intrigues me more than the X and Live series. Been on my 3000 for about 16 years but about to send it to Forat to get serviced. Been on Logic for about a year now and it’s cool but still can’t get a feel for it. I currently have a 2015 MacBook Pro that’s still running strong with the last Monterey macOS update. What do I need to get the Studio or Renaissance working? Thank you

yo! ur good to go. you just need to make sure ur Mac is old enough for the drivers to work with the ren LOL. 2015? ur good to go. mpc 2.0 will work with it no problem, no idea if 3.0 will when it comes out.

I own a ren/studio black, the ren is my fav mpc ive ever had.. I love the studio too because it's just a compact version of the ren, but having all the q links on the left, the ins and outs, the rens perfect imo. I don't need the portability of the live/live2.

I can't use the ren anymore sadly because I upgraded to a Mac m1. the studio black works on m1's thank god, but who knows if mpc3.0 will support the studio black. I might have to get an old cheap comp just to start using my ren again lol.

I picked up a cheap Ren a couple of weeks ago and it's immaculate.
I managed to load an older driver for Mojave on my 2010 Mac Pro, which is running Big Sur currently. I opened Akai 2.0 and the Ten comes alive, but a lot of its functionality doesn't seem to be there. For example, hitting play or stop, etc, does sod all.
Can you give any tips or helpful advice how to get it running properly. I used Logic Pro as my DAW.
