List of Plugins you would pay for

Given that all of those plugs are sample based and their libraries have the same " .big" file format it's quite clear they're running on modified xpand. On the other hand, it could be just their naming convention but in that case there wouldn't be a clear distinction between Xpand and expander (there is a metric ton of the latter ones in the FW). I'd say - pick your poison

Prophet 5 that is as good Jura

Guitar amp sims that are much better. Don't expect it to be Neural DSP or anything top-notch

Audio to MIDI converter. Even just for simple clean melody signals

am suprised as it seems that Xpand2 sounds better then fabric; maybe the Xpand software has a diferent effects stack; or something else to where the raw wavs sound better then in fabric

yeah, most probably it’s just a core of an engine - sample playback/management, GUI etc.. FX section in Fabric is completely different imho. It’s based on the „new” algos they put into standalone plugins (reverbs, delays, distortions etc.)

What about the Korg suite of plugins

Yes, this is what I also believe. Fabric and Xpand!2 may have a few similar samples, but Fabric has a lot missing from the Xpand!2 Library, and yes the Reverb and FX algos sound different to me. I auto-sampled the majority of the ethnic sounds I wanted to use, but I really miss the easy layering of sounds and per-track arpeggiator(It’s impossible to get a sustain pad on one Keygroup whilst playing an arp on a different Keygroup track at the same time). I also just think it would make sense for the Key 61 and Key 37. The way that Xpand!2 shows up with the Touch UI in Controller mode already works very well for the most part, they just need to fix a few parameters. Back to Plug-ins I would pay for, a Trance Gate Effect like the one in refx Nexus would be cool also.

I guess a Polysix clone would be kinda cool but we already have Jura. MS-20 seems like it would be a nightmare of an interface just look at OP-X4. There’s pretty good Triton and M1 Expansions on Amazound, and most of the other synths wouldn’t really make sense for the MPC. Microkorg clone maybe?

Agreed. I just need woodwinds, Brass and ethnic instruments in a Plugin format.

I would buy a multi timbral plugin.
Since air is in charge, why not a structure 3 plugin with 16 instruments

A plugin that acts as a wrapper for any Linux VST. So I can load any Linux VST. Would 100% buy that.

I would immediately endeavour to run the MPC VST inside this VST container inside my MPC.
