IISDMC cardreader vs Atapi???

I'm still looking for a cardreader but i can't find any in the Netherlands.
But I found the following in a Germany webstore.

The specs say that it is compatible with a lot of Operating Systems, but it does not say ATAPI, it does say IISDMC

If I remember right, Mike Goins wrote about succesfull installing an IISDM compatible drive.

If I google for IISDMC, I find a lot of drives which are ATAPI compatible.

I asked the shop and they don't know brand or type because it is not written on the reader. Thay say it is not ATAPI compatible.

I think they are wrong. What do you think?

I have a feeling that this drive will work. It's cheap 24 euro plus 16 euro shipping.

ah ok great. They all look pretty much the same. I think IISDMC also means that it is ATAPI compatible. But I could be wrong offcourse.

Several sites advertise this drive as an "IISDMC-IDE(ATAPI) drive"

"IISDMC" is the model number. That just means that all these retailers are using the part number the manufacturer used. I suspect that every single one of them is from the same manufacturer.

Ok, then I'm going to order.

This is new for me.... If buy a card reader ATAPI compatible i can replace it in my mpc2000xl? But it's simple (like put it in a pc?) or the mpc 2000xl need other mods to do this??
