sd card suddenly write protected

i just wanted to add some samples and suddenly the card ois write protect, hardware switch in right position, tried inside mpc as well as usb adapter
any ideas?

I had this as well. Fixed it by using a ssh enabled firmware such as our HAKAI firmware and used a few commands in a terminal to fix it.

the file system is errored. you need to stick it in a pc and run a file system check on it. if that doesnt fix it it's probably dead.

It might be the case of its write cycles after writing and deleting for awhile on a usb flash, sd card even an ssd it becomes unstable and all you can do is read from it.

Had the same problem, no solutions found. Bought a new one....
