MPC37 - AKAI FORCE Midi Settings

Hello,

I'm in need of some advice, trying to connect my MPC37 to the AKAI Force, the following works... (Kind OFF)

Using a 3.5 mm from AKFCE to 5 pin MIDI cable into the 37, I can control the sounds on the Force, but certain keys pressed on the MPC37 seem to trigger various screen menus on the force, and I have tried various settings to prevent this, but can't work it out.

Any advice /suggestions would be appreciated.

More details would be helpful.

Change the midi channel. Go to another channel besides 1 (2-16) I had the same problem
