Load Drum Loop Directly onto Pad

I know this a real beginner question but how do I load drum Loop (from splice) directly onto a pad in a drum track. I know how to add it on a pad in the the drum kit. Is recording from note mode the only way to add it to the track?

You want a complete drumloop into one pad?

Go to the drumtrack, press shift + clip and you are in sample settings. Here you can adjust a number of things.

You have to program it to play, ie.: play notes.

Another way is to load the loop into a clip on an audio track, which is more sensible. Here you can adjust also a lot of things in the editor.
