MPC 3 -- Let's GO!!

The best thing to do would make a new folder and 'SAVE AS' any MPC 2 projects you open in MPC 3 to that new folder.

I really like this new update. Still figuring out how everything works, I have lost my initial template...
I think there has been a lot of refactors under the hood. I have playing some fast finger drumming and it doesn't feel glitchy anymore

Pretty sweet. A lot to take in. I don't know where to start or what to do though lol

first impressions the main screen looks awesome in person; the install and activations process is quick and smooth.

the mixer and arrange screens look great; am liking the new colour schemes; sometimes its hard to judge when looking at a video but in person it all looks great.

one thing i dislike imedately is the drag and drop icons on the main menu; the 4 big icons at the bottom of the menu screen, for new project, save, project and preferences.

it seems these can be dragged around with the rest of the function icons; I would like those options to be locked to the taskbar, cos i accidently dragged and dopped into that group

loading up old 2.0 projects seems all good; for the most part, i would say there seems to be a slight headroom difference in 3.0, so i have had to lower the levels on the mixer pages of several 2.0 projecs i have opened

Yes that 'sign up for the beta' thing was really just 'join our mailing list to get an email when the beta is ready for download'. You'll probably get an email later today, and then of course lots of marketing emails.

they simply don't like people who use their services with all their trackers blocked
or you need to find more elaborate name

May need a new YA Mastering template and directions how to get it up and running properly w this new system.

Ok all seems ok so far. If you have tracks with non 4/4 time signatures it doesn't know how to properly parse those and converts them to 4/4 - be forewarned. Strange bug.
