Long time lurker, first post.

@MPC-Tutor You mentioned "temporarily install a modified 2.15" can you share a modded firmware or info on where to find one?

Also, massive respect for the forum and the Bible.

Peace

2.14 there atm, but this will let you create the dev-mode folder

Mouse support would be handy for editing automation

I could create an image with mouse support enabled without any problems tbf, but that defeats purpose of beta as they won't take any reports seriously or just ignore them altogether
You can't just report anything and say "oh btw, that bug occurs on hacked / ssh'd version with developer mode enabled and f**ck knows what else lolol"

Is it already enabled? Or was that after you enabled it @dustyslices My logitech MX will pair with the MPC, but I don't see any pointer when trying to use it.

Yeah, I need to take that video down as I didn't realised that I had developer mode enabled. I'm constantly switching it on and off - on for general running through files and keeping it off when actually testing stuff.
This time I f**cked up lol

no worries, sounds like I might need to try developer mode

I'm contemplating buying one of these as a replacement for my vertical mouse when working on my laptop :

https://www.notebookcheck.net/Sanwa-Sup ... 147.0.html

Could maybe be a nice addition to the MPC workflow too, keeping it on one finger while working away as it only weighs 21g apparently.

Maybe not so much when finger drumming though :|

Either mouse support, or a better touch screen. I would even support a third party company if they would drop one

How to enable dev mode? Mouse support is making everything so easy to work on all devices based on MPC OS!

I just received this stiley stylus and wow - muuuuch better than my fat fingers: moving notes around the sequencer's grid is pretty close in precision to what I would expect from a mouse. My mouse envy just went down a good bit !

Just got this thanks to a few threads in this forum - game changer. Grid-related frustrations have diminished considerably.

I just bought the cheapest and shittiest stylus from AliExpress and yes, it makes a great difference.

For everything else, touching the screen is more or less functional, but when it comes to selecting notes in the piano roll, using the fingers is a pain. It's true. The stylus helps.
