Did you change some settings on your ufx 2? Mine ucx 2 on cc mode(yeah its not the ufx) have similar problems like your iconnectivity.

From the MPC manual "Audio devices must also be set to 44.1 kHz sample rate and 128 sample buffer size"

I track out 16 Chanel’s to my laptop that is running studio one. And in studio one I use mastering plugins on these 16 Chanel’s. Also the MPC is the MTC master to studio one and I lay down my vocals in studio one.

This way I can here my song in top quality before rendering/exporting the song..

The biggest reason I do this is to give the laptop all the CPU horse power it needs for the plugins I use without bothering about the CPU it would need for the MPC in controller mode.

How does one set an audio device to any specific sample buffer size? Is there an example of a device that is somehow able to tell the host what buffer size it "has" or would like to use? I have always thought that buffer size is purely a matter of host-side software i.e. drivers. Maybe I'm wrong.

This exactly what I want to do.. I have motu 828es and wish it was compatible.. I might take the leap and purchase..

you are correct, it's poorly written in the mpc manual. i believe it has to be read this way : if your audio device is in CC mode, the mpc will act as an audio driver, with the sample buffer size being set/locked (if not hardcoded) to 128 samples. Your audio device must be able to support it.

To Be clear you have your rme interface connected to the usb port on the MPC then routing rme interface to your laptop how?

I’ve noticed some clicks/pops with the latest MPC firmware on my RME Babyface Pro…Can anyone confirm?

The Steinberg UR22 mk2 works both in recording and playback. But it´s totally insane that there is so many problems with so many interfaces(being that the ad/da convertion in the mpc suck). Im thinking about upgrading to a Neve 88m and if it doesnt work with the mpc im switching to the maschine..

Ok I agreed until you Said your switching to maschine? Why do they have 16 stereo outs interfaces? If not moot point..

Strange indeed after installing beta 3 and downgrading back to 2.15 clicks/pops are gone..Hmm

Maschine doesn't have same problem workin with different interfaces?

Wait neither does mpc they work with all MPC's this thread is for using an interface to get 16 stereo outputs or 32 mono to track into your mixer or daw.. I think your confused
