Does something have to be downloaded for stems to work in standalone?

Needs to be activated within preferences > Activation, can't remember if there's an actual download but it will handle it all within the activations page if needed.

It’s already activated, but I down graded to 2.15 , and now not working , just wondered if downgrading over wrote whatever if anything was downloaded.

Was your downgrade from 3.0 or 2.15.1?

tried 2.15.0 and 2.15.1. Same result.
