That works in the arrange window but if you then go into grid view and zoom in, as soon as it starts to overdub it zooms back out

Again, please try presenting this is a detailed, step-by-step way as it's really hard to decipher exactly what is going on.

Load a Program on MPC 2 one a track. The next rack set to MIDI and route to the track you loaded the Program on. Go to Progressions setting of the MIDI track, select Pad Bank A and set to CUSTOM>EDIT NOTE MAP and select the C1 custom mapping template. On the MPC 2 OS on my MIDI tracks routed to my other track with Program kit, it maps and triggers the samples exactly as the Program track itself from Pad A1-H16 in order. Now in MPC 3, following those same steps , the same CUSTOM C1 mapping template routed to a Drum track (vs Programs) is way off, out of order from Pad A1-H16. I reported this to Akai on their bug reporting page for the MPC 3 OS.

Ultros wrote:Does tube synth still drift in 3.x ?
I dont know if anyone has noticed tubesynth has some drift. tap away on the pad kinda rapidly like blip blip blip blip. It's always done this too.. its nothing to do with glide or pitch within the patches i'v e tried changing all that to 0 to see if it helps. nope. mini d, and iirc the opx does it as well. hype does not do it as far as i've seen.
Perhaps the drift is a free running lfo? I dunno what it is but it's super annoying..

Im using this list:
https://soundprogramming.net/file-forma ... equencies/
But the MPC v3 has completely different note numbers.
I think so. When I used the C1 custom mapping in MPC2 on my MIDI tracks routed to my other tracks with Program kit, it mapped exactly as the Program track itself from Pad A1-H16. Now in MPC3, the same custom C1 mapping routed to a Drum track (vs Programs) is way off, out of order from Pad A1-H16. I’m not sure if it’s a bug but if so i reported this to Akai’s bug reporting page.
