To initiate...
I've finally found the app essential for ipad sample chop production...
I'm uncertain of the app's popularity, or lack of there of.. The app under my surveillance hasn't the most attention for updates or upgrades... Surprised recently for its update September / October 2024. Which I've only found to consist of the {save option screen to appear in the middle of the screen sometimes instead far left..
Reaching out to IMPC PRO 2 Developemrnt for suggested improvements updates / upgrades I'm uncertain to be even acknowledgied....

To reiterate On this forum....
Suggestion 1

An optional { LOCK} for the Variation lever control...
To secure and sustain octave....
The 16 level function does not the same octave range in comparison...

Suggestion 2

Song Mode Arrangement.... As like the 2000xl it was easier to arrange the length of your song after compiling sequences...
With the IMPC PRO 2
You can only compile sequences....

but I'm getting around it, if until ever changed..... I'd rather personally if having to choose,

Suugestion 1 for improvement...

For the IMPC PRO COMMUNITY
Waiting for IMPC PRO 3 OR 2.5

Maybe the equivalent of the 3.0 Updates for the current MPCs........ Thankyou... :worthy:

I believe it was Retronyms that made this app... and unfortunately it doesn't compare well with the competition.

If you haven't checkout Beatmaker 3, it's a great app, and Koala is another similar style app worth checking out. I think looking at either of those two you'll see why most people in the community moved on from IMPC PRO 2, despite initial high hopes for it.

Appreciative of the response,, I've played with Beat maker 3 a few times... Very intuitive yet it's work flow and library doesn't pick my satisfaction... It's probably the only alternative compared to ipad production compared IMPC PRO.... AKAI unfortunately has history of not continuing support of some releases {earlier mpc 's}...
Even though BM3 is favorable, I personally prefer the Impcs workflow { now understood} more so than BM3 but in all fairness I haven't learned BM3 fully yet..... Tutorials on you tube aren't precise with step by step instructs.... But appreciate your input and thank you... Retronyms needs to level :? :( I'm waiting with some faith :Sigh:

I’ve used BM2, and went over to BM3. The reason I stopped using IMPC PRO 2, is because you can’t use your own samples. Don’t know if that changed. You needed ITunes. Then, you could sample 30 sec. Of a song. If they changed it where you can sample maybe from Splice, that would be dope.!! I haven’t looked into a lot of updates, but I was telling why I use BM3 over IMPC. I still use it, just not as much anymore.
