Very simple fix. Contact Akai and they will send you a zipped file you will have to load into a flash drive and connect to your usb port on back. Once it sees it, the screen will go black and then back on in less than 5 minutes and you should be good

they could fix this by simply making the internal drive that contains expansions read / writable from usb mode lol. then anyone could just drag the expansions back on. theres no reason for it not to be writable.

I don't have any expansions on my mpc internally and have no issues either. I find it very strange that some people report it to break the system. the weird part is it makes no real sense as to why that would happen. the software doesnt care if the expansions are there or not.

My question is...Why do so many people "want to re-install the Internal Files Back"?

Akai Should Charge a Fee to Re-install the Free Sh*t that was Intentionally Deleted lol

I just purchased a used MPC one with the internal FULL - a Factory Reinstall to default, would be a great starting point with the device.
