Akai Force discontinued?

I have watched some youtube vids where people say the Force is not available anymore........

Anyone here know more about it, and if they release a Force MK2?

JUst started with the Force a few month ago, but love it to death!

Discontinued according to sweetwater, I.e. they do not stock it. Akai have not officially discontinued it but equally are not making any statements to quell the rumours

Even if akai stop manufacturing it they will likely ‘support’ it for some time after, tech support but perhaps not firmware updates.

But Mpc live is discontinued and still receives updates due to there being a family of products that support the same firmware. That said there is no news on a force 2.

But you say you love the force as it is, so does it matter either way?

No it doesn’t matter, but was just wondering what is going on. I love the Force, and it replaced my music pc for a few month now.

Yesterday, I connected my Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 3 rd gen to the Akai, and it works like a charm as far as I can see now. Happy customer here!!!!!!
