So I have the 218 and have had it for years now. I am very much aware of the process of firmware updates as i have the 218, the mpk mini mk3 the launchpad X the mpc studio2 and once the firmware update starts you are not supposed to cut off power to it or disconnect it WHATSOEVER. Well, I had a power outage during my last firmware update and never was able to figure out a way to fix it. I went back to update the firmware once power was back on but it never really updated it. It is read in the updater initially and when it comes time to apply the update it says to choose the device from a list, but my device is NOT THERE... I love the 218 for drums and synths and was PRAYING that one of you fine peeps would have a solution for me with this issue because akai certainly did NOT. MAYBE is there a way to factory reset the entire controller? Other ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance
