Why are you so focused on shutting people down for expressing a feature request? So you don’t need it or want it - that’s fine. Doesn’t mean what OTHER people want isn’t relevant.

whats the max number of pads u would want on a new MPC? are u a legacy MPC user or new MPC user?

:Sigh: how does not wanting to chop a sample into 64 pieces impact what i think of myself; pure ignorance, there is no correlation, so u super reaching.

alot of u have an overly nerdy mindset regarding production; so u think that the more chops u have in ur beat, that somehow makes the song more superior.

this is false cos madlib, dre or alchemist can play u a beat that is "just" a 2 bar loop; that will crush all of ur 64 chop beats.

so making ur beat production process more complicated does not equate to better music being made, u nerdy dudes get that confused.

I did not shut anyone down; my question was, why does the 64 pad requester not simply just get the Force instead of wanting the MPC to transform into a Force.

That is a valid question; but for some reason people got triggered

You can’t grasp the power of chopping a sample in this manner, and you’re telling us to just get a Force if you want 64 pads.

We’re telling you that it would be awesome to have an MPC/Force hybrid. So you don’t want that. Fine. We do. Don’t tell us to just “get a Force”. Try to think outside the box, man.

I explained on the last page that if you have a 8 bar sample & chop each bar into 8 chops that would be 64 chops (8x8=guess what). How is that nerdy?

This is part of the reason I asked jpeg not to reply to me. You don't need 64 pads for the 64 chops, since I was doing this back on the 1k, but having 64 pads give you direct access to all the chops at once. This is me stating one of the advantages of the Force. Homie confused this as me wanting the MPC to become the Force. I even said they should the give the MPC the option to use the APC64 & give the MPC3 the much needed clip-matrix & the Force’s Navigation view that gives you a overview of the whole project tracks & clips. This would all be optional. Meaning you keep using the current tedious ass seq in the MPC.

The funny thing is that the new MPC3 is already making the MPC into the Force as was discussed by Dan back in 2019. But J, more than anyone here should've know this.

He missed my point, made up some nerdy theory BS about the benefitsof 64 chops, shut the idea down, got called out & denied it. Classic J-Lord. :|

I vote for at least 128 slices per sample, cause chopping complex drumloops with a certain length requires that easily.

The same one that kept hyping 3.0 so it can have the Arranger & mixer like the Force. A MPC with 32 pads like the new Move would be dope & allow for playing at least 2 bank for 2 octave piano. But this may to nerdy cuz The greats from the 90s didn't have that. Get the he'll outta here!

4 banks of 16 is sufficient for most scenarios; again more chops does not equal better music, if u cant get it done with 16 pads over 4 banks u lacking in something, so having 99 pads wont save u
