My takeaway: the three AIR delays are capable of all that the other delays do (apart from the Sample Delay), apart from having a simple interface. Looks like a market segmentation between users who unashamedly embrace the computer in all its power, and those who need the coziness of a skeuomorphic interface... I wonder if the same applies to other MPC effects categories.

My takeaway is that the MPC1k/2500 had 1 delay. :|

MPC4 will introduce the Tesseract Delay - n-dimensional, including causality-violating actual reverse delay that starts inverse delay echoes even before one plays the note. Also, it will introduce a new distribution method: all MPC across all timelines will get it installed simultaneously - including the 1k and 2500.
