Hi peeps, quite a few threads on this topic of using the 8 out boards from S-series sampler and installing into 2000XL.

Options seem to be:
1) Pull apart connector on the 8 out board and add a cannibalised floppy ribbon cable (potentially making a mistake of not matching the pin out of mobo and blowing a resistor)
or
2) Get a 34pin IDC male to female Ribbon.
Option 2 cost me all of $10 from an ebay vendor in china.
Thought I'd make a quick video as I'm doing it so there's a visual source of info. I'm no expert but hope this helps someone who is figuring out what to do.
