So I've been stuck on this firmware because they decided to take away an incredibly integral feature to my performances.

I realized that sadly I don't have the matching software to go with my hardware, and whenever I plug in my MPC to becomes a controller for the newest software I have (2.15 I think).

Does anyone have a resource to acquire the file for MPC 2.9 or 2.9.1 for Windows??? I've been looking for well over a year on and off at this point and might as well go a bit deeper and start asking people.

Thanks!

For future reference, if you need a specific version, this was the URL of the MPC Software 'trial' page for that period:

https://web.archive.org/web/20210518181 ... software-2

Choose a date just after the release of the version you need (be aware they were often quite slow to update the trial version linked on this page). Go down to 'Take a Trial' - the trial version is the full installer (assuming you've already activated via ilok)

You'll find the archived link in the format:
Code: Select allhttps://web.archive.org/web/20210518181443/https://cdn.inmusicbrands.com/akai/ds/MPC%20Software%20Desktop/Install-MPC-v2.9-Windows.zip

The file itself in this instance wasn't archived, but Akai seem to keep the original files at the same URL, so remove the 'web.archive.org' part:

https://cdn.inmusicbrands.com/akai/ds/M ... indows.zip
