The whole Black Friday non event this years seams both a bad and good thing. Bad for my GAS. Good for my credit card. I was hoping for a deal on Instrument collection or something like that. Even though I already have the OP4 or whatever it's called. Already have the Moog which is worth grabbing at this price. Even at 1/2 price the instrument collection would be expensive, but with all the free upgrades since buying MPC a few years ago I wouldn't mind. But the full price on some of these things is insane.
I Love MPC 3 being more a DAW in a box type of user than a sample cutter and would rather mic an existing RL instrument or use MPC to sequence RL hardware synths.
Enjoy the built in instruments though and find them generally useful.
I have always been quick to jump on the email subscriber offers here and there have been some great ones.
Things like the Bass guitar key group collection. Even though I can just as easily DI my Fender Jazz Bass via Hartke amp. Just a lot easier for playing around with ideas, that being my main use for both Live2 and Force. Force in studio and Live 2 in arm chair.
Have registered for the new Black Friday freebee and hope there are a few more offers over the next few days. Otherwise my credit card is going to be very happy.
