ok so i got a mpc 500 i purchased online second hand with the manual about a year ago. it worked perfect.
It didnt have any mods or extras parts just a basic 500, ive had it for about a year and i didn't use it much because it gets technical compared to the zoom sampletrak and sp 404.
The last few months i use it almost everyday, been learning it and stuff and the sensitivity of the pads are pissing me off so i heard if you correctly unscrew the top off you can put so 1 inch cork sheet under the 12 to make it more sensitive, if that didnt work i was just gonna get the fat pads
then when i screwed it back in the blue lcd light came on it said mpc 500 and thats it, thats all it does now i tried to hold the erase undo button and stuff but nothing,.... ALSO ive never had ram for it or and actual power outlet i use the my volts rip cords, did i bump something, should i get a new light let me know guys
