Hi all
I’m experiencing something weird with 3.4.0.105
I’ve been using different sequences for my intro/verses/hooks etc but randomly when I arrange the sequences in Song mode and use the “conv-seq) function (at this stage I have ignore muted tracks selected) - the new sequence which contain the arrangement for the “song” has loads of parts unmuted that were previously muted when working on the I individual sequences.

Am I doing something wrong or this is a known bug?its driving me crazy :(

Thanks

It's a bug, send the report to akai, the more reports are made, the sooner they will fix it

In 3 Beta?

Yes.

A source choose "drum track" / PAD / "bank" / "pad". As target choose MIXER / Pad Mute

But you cannot mute MIDI or CV tracks. They have no mixer in the targets, though you can mute/solo them from the mixer and track mute screens. Stupid omission.

Apparently they changed it in the last beta, I was looking and trying to configure the mpd and I didn't see it, anyway I'll wait for the next update, I've had enough v3 for a while now... thanks for the info.

Hi team, curious if one has encountered this bug as well? Made a bug-repport of it, as I could easily recreate this, and wondering if someone else could give it a try to?
Working with the mpc-one stand-alone and the latest 3.0 update.

The one is receiving a midi clock input from ableton, and is running.

In my case, I have a drum group and loaded the transient-shaper as a effect on it. Than when making micro adjustments (shiftknob + any of the 4 encoders) the sequencer of the mpc one will stop running.

Thnx ,

This isn't a bug. Go into the Preferences MIDI section & turn off the Control tab for the MPC or any external device, I forgot which. This should solve it.

Euh,, this still shouldn’t stop the sequencer in my opinion, as I am micro adjusting an effect on the mpc and has no interest with sync or midi input.
I am going to test your suggestion, and report back

Did anyone experience screwed up Q-Links in grid mode? Some Q-links have no label, but show a value. Some have a label but, no value. It's unclear if any of them works as expected.

Sidenote: it's strange that arrange mode has "loop start/end" wheras grid has "loop start/length". And "loop start" ist not even the same knob. Sigh.

0-snap works for me only when I turn the data entry knob clock-wise (cursor moves to the right). In the other direction the cursor ends up at weird positions.

Using touch it is similar. A move to the right (later in the sample) works, a work to the left (earlier) does not.

Marcus123 wrote:Same here. Total erratic behavior.

Akai is taking us as hostages for an emotional rollercoaster for some and for others simply as free IT/QA beta testers. Ridiculous. This can't ev3n be called a beta it is a pre-beta.

If you installed and expected a beta to lack problems, you are misunderstanding what beta means.

I.e. you are a hostage to your own state of mind. Go back to a version 2... and be careful not to develop Stockholm syndrome.

Technically a beta is feature complete and just requires testing to ensure there's no major bugs. I'm hoping this isn't feature complete because the UX around copying, pasting etc in the arranger view is pretty terrible.

Is it just me or does it take forever to export tracks in MPC 3? After I explode all individual sounds and try to export it is so slow, sometimes it takes up to an hour to export a song. In MPC 2 it usually only took a couple of minutes. Am I missing something?
