I'll spend all my savings on tons of candy bars. Thank you for this great tip!

How about a box, pallet, skid, or warehouse of chocolate bars you then in turn sell at a profit? You laugh at chocolate bars as an example but go look what nestle or cadbury is worth.

we have enuff of pretty much all fx tbf; except for graphic EQ and parametric EQ

Unlike in the DAW world we have no dedicated emulations of the usual set of compressors, delays, reverbs, filters and pre-amps. Every big player has its own set of vintage gear emulations.

Not that I think you really need a virtual, say Fairchild 67, to make great music.

Not true. Odyssey has Echo which emulation of the Echoplex made by Mike Battle back in the late 50s & the Vintage Filter is based on different classic filters.

The two bread and butter compressor emulations seem to be the 1176 and the LA2A. So many companies have these in there VSTs (UA Audio, Overloud, Softube, Waves, IK Media etc). So on one hand I get why Air Music don't see the need to add to their VSTs, but on the other some may want these for the MPC. Lots of Bass, guitar and vocal chains have had these in series with the 1167 fast response tackling transients and the LA2A leveling. I have a few of these as VSTs Emulations(only because I picked them up free and maybe adding both Ik medias This black Friday). But maybe if air did a twist on these with a both in one unit, with series and parallel options and with mix controls on both.

Personally I'd like a 3 or 4 multiband compressor, and distortion.

I forgot that one. But it's - as you wrote - part of Odyssey. And the filter in Mini-D should be an emulation as well. I was thinking of insert/send FX.

the Vintage Filter is based on different classic filters.

It's a generic "character filter" not an emulation of a specific filter.

Again, I'm not saying I need that. I'm just musing what kind of "beloved hardware" they could bring to the MPC.

Still putting my money on Moogerfoogers - InMusic owns the Intellectual Copyright. The MoogerFoogers are beloved and they do have a Filter and Cutoff on the Low Pass Filter. They are already coded for VST's.

And the word "beloved" is often used with these excellent pedals:

"Moog Music have discontinued their beloved Moogerfooger effects pedals after a 20 year production run. "

We'll see in 4 days...

I take that back, thinking it over, there is already the VST for Mac/Windows, and their announcement said it's coming to MPC & Desktop. So something else....

In My Opinion....

Adding another FX Plug-in...is the Equivalent to Adding A 17th Pad on the MPC

Again...I apologize for the Sensitive People on here

Hmm... Now I'm thinking about buying a skyscraper and filling it up with Smarties :-D

(I take your point though. And I'm pleased to have ignored all the hassling GASsy emails urging me to buy more shit so far)
