Hi guys,

I've been experiencing a problem with the MPC Software, it started taking at least 6 minutes to boot up after launching the app. It seems to have started happening after I installed a few plugins, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software multiple times and removed the plugins, but nothing seems to fix the boot-up time now, I want to believe there may be a folder somewhere that doesn't get removed while uninstalling the software that is causing this to happen.

PS: MPC Beats boots-up normally.

MPC Version 2.15.0
macOS: Sonoma 14.5 (M1 Max)

Any ideas on how to fix this? Or a better tool to completely uninstall MPC Software from the system without leaving trace of affiliated folders. Thanks in advance!

I'm having a similar issue, as MPC Software seems to give me the pinwheel of death on the regs. Usually, it takes a couple of 'Forced Quits' before it fully boots up. Once it's up and running, I typically plug in the MPC Live II in controller mode, mostly just to be able to get a better visualization when micro-chopping (my eyes are not what they used to be). This seems to work until I attempt to save, start a new project, or shut down the MPC Live. That ish can take a lifetime, when I'm at my most vulnerable haha. I've heard that perhaps it's best to plug in my SD or thumb drive to the Mac instead of the MPC when tethered, but maybe y'all can shed light on that.

I prefer to roll with the MPC in standalone, but Stems seem to work much better on the software... First World problems, but I def desire to keep the options open when droppin' loot on my set-up.

I'm guessing that I need to figure out what's causing the error on the MPC software first, then deal with the hardware/software entanglement. If anyone has some insights, please share!

MPC Live II (updated to 2.15)
Mac Studio 2023 (M2 MAX, 12C CPU, 30C GPU, 32 GB Unified Memory, running OS 14.6.1)

Edit: (Akai still claims it's not compatible with Mac Sonoma, so that may be my answer)

Hmmm....

I sometimes have this issue when I load previous projects that have a few VSTs that require loading. If I try to do anything before it loads COMPLETELY crashes.

Sometimes you just have to WAIT until everything loads.
