Hi Fellows,
I repaired my Mpc 5000 but now mine has an Handshake Problem. Renewed some and Replugged every cable on the PCBs… Took everything apart a few times now… reinstalled a few times now. Booted without HD. Booted with erase and pushed on powerup, Booted from Card.
(Actually I found a loose 2 Phased Cable with a Dupont Plug near the back of the DVD Drive where all the Cable bunched together going into the Expansion pcb. But I cant find no female Dupont where I could Plug it in to. There is just one Place where I could Plug this in, but there is already a Cable pluged in on the back and inside of the DVDhousing. )
So I guess this cable is for Development use. I really dont know

Failed Reset Handshake #1
(and sometimes ist says #2)
Initializing Modes…
(And than it freezes)
This Bootingproblem Pops up a lot on the Internet, But no threat was marked as solved.
Any Help here? Let it be small doesnt matter
