12-06-24 purchased The Keys Collection online via credit card (my account debited)
No response emails, no record showing up, no codes sent.

12-07-24 Next day started support ticket. Multiple status queries no response(currently 8 attempts.
Attempted calling InMusic 401-658-3131. Unable to get a human at InMusic anywhere in their phone system on multiple occasions.

8 support tickets responses so far with AERO feedback.

Nothing showing in my InMusic OR Akai Pro account. I hold Akai responsible for this horrible experience as well. I got to InMusic as a result of Akai site web link.

At this point it's off to the Rhode Island better business bureau. You've been warned about these scam artists just in time for Christmas. YouTube disaster experience video coming very soon. Trying to prevent lumps of coal showing up in too many kids Christmas stockings. What a horrible experience...

New challenge : Try to get a HUMAN on the phone at InMusic 401-658-3131

Akai is part of inMusic, it's just one of inMusic's 'brands' like Moog, AIR Music, Sonivox, Denon, Alesis, Numark etc.

Akai always use a third party reseller for their mpcstore checkout, used to be Fastspring, different company now, it looks like they are just as bad as Fastspring at taking payments and not fulfilling orders.

While I do feel Akai need to up their game regarding support and the whole purchasing experience, they are not 'scammers' in the sense to which you are referring. Just incompetent, and they will get back to you, eventually.... Sending 8 support tickets and expecting this to somehow expedite their response? Akai are well known to take several days to respond to a ticket, so you might just have to be a bit more patient.

Is it possible you entered the wrong email address during checkout? If there's no matching inmusic account for that email, Akai will automatically create one under the mispelled email and deposit your purchases in that account,. They'll also send all receipts to that incorrect email. I know that's not really going to help you now, but it's probably what happened to your order - when Akai get back to you they'll almost certainly sort it out. Just make sure they have enough info to search for your order.

Recently had a situation, created a support ticket (mind you this was on a weekend too), within 2 working days I got an email reply, situation was handled and I had everything I wanted/needed as expected. I replied in email and thanked them for their time and effort, all good.

My advice, pay attention to the details of the purchase.
Ensure the correct credentials and accounts are used.
Have PATIENCE.

Same experience here: a bit of delay, but all handled gracefully in the end. Even something as dodgy as transferring a license I had bought with a wrong email address went swimmingly.
