Hi all,

I have a Macbook Pro that I would like to connect to my MPC one as well as an interface. For the interface I have a UAD Volt 476p (4 in/4 out) that I would like to connect to both my computer and MPC at the same time. Is this possible? I don't have a mixer and would rather not have to buy one at least not right now. I also have some studio monitors that I would like to be hooked up too all of this but I figure I can probably just plug those into the interface. Any tips on signal path here would be much appreciated. Thank you!

I would imagine that there are a few ways to hook these three up.
I like the (midi) old school ways, so I would connect the Volt to the Mac via a USB cable.
Then I would connect the MPC to the Volt using two 5-pin Midi cables: Out>In and In>Out.
As for the audio, I would then connect two cables, left and right, from the MPC main out, to the Volt input 1 & 2 (or 3 & 4).
And I’m assuming you have the Volt connected to some audio amplifier that in turn is connected to two speakers or perhaps it’s connected to some amplified speakers?
