First I’m running the MPC-software on a 2018 Mac-mini with Big Sur as the OS I tried to hook up my live II after the 2.10 update to the software as well as Live II and it now tells me that my driver for the live II is out of date. I just need to know in detail how to do this if anyone out there could help me out it would be much appreciated.
(I’ve been to the Akaipro site and they have nothing also everything they do have is out of date).

I had this same issue and it was due to the driver not being installed on my Mac. What I found is that installing MPC 2 software via InMusic Software Center DOES NOT install or even give you the option to install drivers. If you go to your InMusic account and download the MPC 2 installer directly, it lets you choose which product you own and installs the driver. Hope this helps.

Now I have this problem. Brand new Mac Mini M4 Pro, Logic Pro. Installed MPC2 software on the Mac (there's nothing about drivers or Live II in the installer)

Start Logic Pro
Load MPC2 as a AU plugin
Put LIVE II into controller mode
Boom - MPC Live Mk II: Not Installed
