Hey everyone,
I got the AIR delay pro plugin on black friday sales. I activated and installed it on my MPC One and soundwise it works perfectly but somehow all the knobs (in all three screens) are greyed out (looks like the 'animation' for them is somehow missing) and don't move with value changes or show their relative position. The numerical values below the knobs work tho and change with input. But it's a bit annoying and less intuitive than seeing the knobs.
What I tested so far:
- Originally I tried it under the current MPC 3.4.0.105 version.
- then I tried it with my MPC One downgraded to the latest 2.15 and
- deactivated/activated and deleted/reinstalled it a few times under both OSes
- submitted a ticket to AIR/Inmusic, where I got a confirmation but no response in over 10 days now (other issues where handled within one day)
- all my pugins are stored on a (micro-)SD card which works perfectly and no other plugin - free and bought - has issues

I think I searched everywhere and only thing I found is someone who reported the same issue in a MPC 3 thread here on the forum but no solution. I don't think its an issue of MPC 3 tho.
Does anyone experience the same issue? Maybe a hint what could be tried to make it work?

Thanks a lot and have fun making music!

Thanks for your reply nonetheless.
I'm really out of ideas what it could be. Still have a little hope AIR will respond to my ticket someday...

Is it on a Track Insert? Pad Insert?

Uninstall air delay pro, reset prefs, completely delete it from your card, re-download and install air delay pro again.

Your knob filmstrip is corrupted or missing.
MPC is looking for plugin skins in three different locations and use the one which is encountered at first (following locations are most likely wrong as I’m going from the top of my head):
1. /media/az01-internal/usr/share/Akai/SME0/Plugin Skins/****
2. /media/az01-internal-sd/MPC Documents/Plugin Content/Plugin Skins/****
3. your chosen path in Preferences

as I mentioned before - first two pathes are most likely wrong as I’m going straight from memory and I don’t remember exactly without at the terminal but since you populated the last one with correct skin, it means that there are some corrupted leftovers on the internal storage and the system doesn’t even reach the third stage as one of the first two locations are „good enough” for it.
In order to remove skins from the internal memory, you will need either SSH’ed firmware and delete them manually or roll back to pre 2.15 (2.14 should do) and use the „symlink” vulnerability I’ve made video on here:

This vulnerability been patched since 2.15 so it’s essential you roll back to at least 2.14 if you want to go this route. As Lampdog mentioned - you may have a go with resetting the preferences as well as the content path locations are stored in the ‚MPC.settings’ file so resetting it might help.

Thanks for this, but it didn't help...

Wow thanks for this long and in depth answer as well and the YT link! Will check it out and looking forward to learn new stuff. And give it a try when I find the time (and nerves...) to get my hands dirty...

unzip this file into your synths folder.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hLAjJyTVt8pQarGpN3lkbDckSAVRyZvT/view?usp=sharing

This directory contains assets that are shared between multiple AIR plugins hence they dumped them into one common directory. Most importantly, this directory contains "knobLgUniDirBlue" (knob_blue_lg.png), knoLgUniDirGreen etc...etc... that what's you looking for.
If that doesn't work (doubt it) then you will have to open TUI.json and manuallyedit path to the assets.

Have you recently deleted any Pre-loaded Files/folders from your Internal Drive?

Appreciate the input and the link. Thanks a lot!

Nothing personal but I'm not 100% sure if I gonna unzip an unknown file from the Internet onto my MPC...

I downloaded and opened it on ipad. It looks like dustyslices is providing you some common air components/files/graphics that you may be missing and/or yours are corrupt.

You can download it to computer, virus scan it.
You can find the comparable folders/files on your sd card and compare/replace.
