I wish Akai would stop the whole Beta none sense.
They are just lazy. I have used my MpcX once in Beta3.4 before that I was on 2.xx. I really have fired that thing up only a handful of times or so since 3.0 Beta started at all. I find Akai an annoying company.I almost feel like they should of left it how it was, or just released it when it should be released instead of this crap. No one I know wants to "call home" on there Mpc everytime they turn it on.

Some of y'all should just Cut Your Losses and Migrate over to Native Instruments. Bcz Akai just isn't working for you.

If I buy a Slice of Pizza...and when I take a Bite, It Smells, or doesn't taste right...I don't go online to Talk about the Pizzeria being lazy. lol I just take my business elsewhere.
I like Akai Pizza  Its Delicious, Smells Good. It may need a lil more Salt, or Better Pepperoni Placement, But It works for me. Soon as their Service goes bad, I'll Buy a Slice from somewhere else

Well the MpcX has been out for how long now? They all use the same processors for how long? The Akai Plugins add Latency, The Midi is half ass with note on/off bugs. Yeah no one is forcing me haha. That's why it sits there and collects dust. The s2400 and sp404mk2 get more use out of it. Like why would I want to deal with all the latency issues when sequencing a bunch of synths... Anyways. Ya'll will back this thing up til death do ya part lol, all good. A Daw is a Daw, If the Daw sucks or is half ass at what is it? A pretty shitty Daw. I still love the classic Mpc's though, just wish Akai would focus on what they should of many years ago instead of releasing new hardware or a Beta that seems to be running for a long time. So much so, that they are so focused on it(creating more plugins), rather than actually fixing the Basic Functions.

Lmao

Ton of us have spoken up about this before, but now some of the people who used to, have joined the other team turning a blind eye on the issues they used to speak about that never got fixed. It's too funny. Akai is drunk and confused or something... Trying to Maximize Sales as usual...

Public beta has the advantage of making people work for free so you save money on beta testers.
Apparently many people like to work for free in this age.
I don't and so I just forget beta and use 2.15.1.
For my needs, 2.15.1 works perfectly, I am liking it a lot, finally my MPC works like a breeze, no latencies, hiccups, crashes or things like that.
But I just use Midi Clock, so I don't know about all Midi issues people are experiencing with this last 2 update.
Akai should really focus on polishing Midi features first of all.
Knowing Akai, 3beta will be useable in 6 months, I guess, or maybe even a year.
Meanwhile I let people enjoy a not paid job and I keep firing 2.15.1.

I am not complaining and I never asked for public beta.
I just said, if you like to work for free, good for you.
I prefer the idea that anyone's time and energy gets a reward, you know, the old idea that if you work, you should get paid.
And I also like the old idea that I give money and I get a working product.
I am old school, that's why I like 2.15.1 more then 3beta.
It fits with my ideas and let me make music without issues.

ahah possible.
My question is: since there are basic midi issues that are present on MPC since years and years, is it so difficult to hire an expert, pay him, and solve them?
If Akai was a serious company, that would be the first thing they would do, rather then jumping to public betas or making promotional videos where they declare MPC as "the most powerful Standalone on the market".
Come on.
Mpc2 reached its potential with these final updates, it's time to polish all the basic midi issues before jumping to a new mess that will be Mpc3.
Public beta will add even more confusion, and more issues will be added.
Hire professionals workers, make it good.
That's my opinion.

In fact I did just that. And the reason was a Mac Mini M4 and Logic Pro works so well with the huge NI libraries that I'm in love with a stable, beautiful, powerful DAW. None of the limitations of the MPC standalones. Of course I tried the Live II controller mode on MPC software and it just does not work. It wants a Mac driver and I see no way to find it. What I want is to keep the settings of the MPC project as a plugin. So when I load a Logic Pro project, its the entire snapshot in single file. And Maschine does that just fine. Sick of separate boxes having to load their part of the project and remixing the levels between devices each time.

For what it's worth, I've had the MPC One since it came out and never really cared for 2.x, I'm enjoying 3.0 a lot more for my workflow and using the MPC more than before. It has some bugs but I don't look at beta testing as a free job, call me new school

Yep, good luck when you find out your old projects will be loaded badly, your track mutes will work and not work depending on the mood of Mpc, the plugins you bought get authorised or not depending on the mood of MPC and good luck when your MPC crashes in the middle of a concert without any apparent reason.
