Hi folks
I have a Novation Launchkey Mk4 (61key) and a trying to use the keyboard split with my Live 2. I have a Jura and a MiniMoog on 2 plug-in Chanels with them set to midi Channels 1 &2. Idea being to play chord arpeggios in the left hand on Jura and lead lines on Moog in the right. Whatever I do I can only gat all the keys working on one instrument. The one selected on screen. The MPC does not seem to recognise the keyboard split at all. After a fair bit of frustration and checking in the Launchkey manual I decided to try it in Ableton Live. Without changing anything on the Launchkey it worked perfectly, using the plugin versions of both mentioned instruments.
My question is 2 part:
First and foremost is it possible do this with the MPC Live2?. I mean is it able to recognise 2 midi Chanels at once and assign them to the appropriate Plug-in ( I have checked multiple times and have the plug-ins set to different Channels on the MPC)
or hopefully:
Is there some point I am missing in midi settings in Preferences, or some other setting I need to activate to enable recording/playing on 2 Channels simultaneously.
