Eventually they are going to stop Support of MPC 2(if they haven't already). So you might as well get use to the New Firmware or you'll be trying to learn it later...Forcefully lol.
I keep a couple of my other MPCs with 2.15 on them but find myself Not using them as much.
That's the point, I also want to stay with 2.15.1 but I know how it works today, they'll stop supporting Mpc2, new features and plugins and fx will come out just for MPc3 and at the end we will all have to jump boat.
Knowing Akai and how they work with bug fixing, we will still have at least 6 months, I guess, before 3 is stable enough.
Anyway, copying and duplicating the track, if MPC3 will just load the original samples even for duplicated track, seems the better way to emulate the MPC2 workflow of shared programs.
I just hope they are not going to screw up our older project, I hope they find a way to have 100% compatibility with MPC2 projects.
