You're right...They have to Take care of the Firmware/Software 1st before introducing New Hardware

welp the next new hardware is highly likely to be be either a new live 3 or the mpc X;

maybe a new X is slightly more likely; as that device has not had any physical changes since its inception, just a different paint job.

Technically paint is too.

the RAM and paint job dont really count as any significant change.

whereas the Live 2 getting a speaker and having buttons and volume knobs arrange, while still relatively minor represents marginally more progress then we have seen in any of the other legacy devices.

The MPC One I think is their top seller; so maybe they will come with an updated version of that, cos that device is begging for an in-built battery and a flip screen, and possibly maybe a data slider or touch strip. Given how minor the One+ update was, that could still be on the cards.

but we shall soon find out
