MPC Key 37 Not Recording All Played Notes

I wonder if others experience their Key 37 not recording all notes. Sometimes (an annoying amount of times), on playback only half of the notes I played are recorded. I'm on 3.4 but I recall this behavior on 2.15 also. It happens with drum kits and plugins also. There's plenty of room on the thing as I have all expansions (besides the factory stuff) and projects on SD and SSD. So, it can't be not enough space or memory. Any help is appreciated.

Turn off TC.
Set PAD PERFORM to CUSTOM since there’s no OFF option.

I can see where both notes would both be on the same beat connected with the TC like you pointed out. So I tried it again and it worked correctly. So i see how I have to work with thanks to your help.

Maybe you ran into the infamous midi bug. 2 midi notes at the exact same time/tick cannot be played and/or mute each other. It’s been discussed and detailed all over the forum.

Noticed on 2.x a long while back, when you record lots of drums (drum program, internal samples) on 1 track, explode that track, the original track gets muted, cool.
Now unmute that original track.
Press play.
Notice the craziness going on?
Exact same midi notes, with exact same timing, across several tracks, cancelling each other out.
Is this possibly the problem?
