MPC3K Midi Issue?

Hi im trying to save midi channel names (i.e. 1A = DX7 etc) but it doesnt seem to save internally or to programs/sequences i make with that information. is this a glitch? im using vailixi 3.50

Initialize Sequence is what you want. Via the Erase button. Go through it & make your desired SEQ, TEMPO, TRACK, MIDI CHANNEL etc settings.
