Mpc Renaissance and macbook m4 Sequoia

I don't understand how to make my mpc renaissance work on my new macbook m4 with sequoia. Is it possible that there is no compatible driver? Should I trash my mpc?

Trash your MPC or trash your laptop and buy an older Mac that can run one of the supported macos versions. I think MPC Ren hasn't been supported for some time now, they don't even list it on the compatibility page:

Weirdly and randomly they released an updated driver for the Studio Black, but not the silver Studio or Ren. I also notice that even the MPC Live is not currently supported (in testing), which kind of brings it home that unless you are pure standalone you are always at Akai's mercy when it comes to controller mode support.

i have a ren and a studio black...

once i got my new laptop a couple years ago (mac m1) my ren has been sitting collecting dust ever since because akai didnt feel like updating drivers for it.

so the only way to use your ren is with an older mac (anything before the m1 series). you could buy a cheap old imac for 150 - 200 and use that worst comes to worst.
