MPC Software freeze

I have been trying before new years to get my MPC 2 software to start saving again. Akai just sent instructions on re-installing a fresh install of the software they sent to me. Problem is, I still have all the sounds and vst plugins I had when i install. Shouldn't i have to install my stuff Every time I install. I am trying to find out if the install location, or the software is making the "SAVE AS" freeze. When I hit "save as" the whole thing freezes, but i can still play and stop my program. My marker, and everything else is frozen though, until I hit "close program". I can't figure this out. If anyone knows, please let me know. thanks.

Try UNLINKING or UNINSTALLING ONE DRIVE, and REINSTALLING OR RE LINKING ONE DRIVE. Then re-install the MPC software. It worked for me. The reason it froze was that , it was trying to Sync the MPC 2 Software and was getting stuck syncing. So when i uninstalled One drive and reinstalled it, it re-synced everything, and i reinstalled the MPC software, and it worked. I can save all my work as if nothing happened. Hope this helps. I got the solution from Microsoft tech support.
